ASME Metropolitan Section John Rice Memorial Scholarship

$3,000 (1 award), for study in the junior or senior year. Global student studying in the US.

For an ASME student member attending a school within the area covered by the ASME Met Section, applicants must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering baccalaureate program in good standing at one of the following colleges or universities:

  • City College/CUNY
  • College of Staten Island
  • Columbia University
  • Cooper Union
  • Manhattan College
  • NYC Technology College of City University
  • Polytechnic Institute of New York University (Brooklyn)
  • SUNY/Maritime College

The award recipient will be selected on the basis of scholastic ability, character, integrity, leadership, and potential contribution to the mechanical engineering profession.
